Nothing beats the feeling of sitting back and admiring something you've created in my opinion. Something to be proud of, something tangible to show for time well spent. For me, this transcends from photography into crafting.
There are so many different crafts you can learn today, from modern techniques to the ancient traditions. It can sometimes be hard to know where to start.

I thought I would start through sharing my love of creating mosaics. There are so many different things you can create through mosaicking, from the smaller items such as picture frames, mirror frames and plant pots through to wall art and even furniture.
​
Then there's the materials you use, recycling old dinnerware or pottery, glass or tiles. However, for Hillgrove, there was one piece that stood out - mosaic bird baths! Access to fresh water is crucial for our feathered friends throughout the year both for drinking and for bathing in.
All the materials required will be provided including the base for your bird bath and a wide selection of tiles.
Safety equipment will also be provided for your convenience.

Once you have your design and have created your masterpiece we will complete the look by grouting your birdbath. (This has to be done 24 hours after to ensure all the pieces are firmly stuck down.)
Within 10 working days, we will have your finished product ready for collection.

Once grouted, your bath is fully waterproof and ready for a test drive!
